This one day practical course aims to develop and extend the skills of otolaryngology trainees with rigid and flexible bronchoscopy, oesophagoscopy and foreign body removal. Short practically based tutorials are followed by individual laboratory exercises, including the removal of a selection of increasingly difficult foreign bodies. All exercises are performed on a very life like modified animal tissue model.
This course can be attended on its own or in conjunction with the course on percutaneous tracheostomy.
