The School of Medicine has been ranked No.1 in Scotland in the latest Guardian University Guide that covers university rankings in the UK for 2018. This success for the School is coupled with the continued climb of the University as a whole, with Dundee now sitting 24th in the UK - a huge jump in rankings from 37th place last year.
Professor Sir Pete Downes, Principal and Vice-Chancellor of the University, said, "The student experience at Dundee is consistently rated among the best in the UK and this, combined with excellence in many subject areas, has led to us recording fantastic performances in league tables such as this in recent years.
"I am delighted by yet another excellent performance, which once more demonstates the progress we are making towards our long-term goal of being Scotland's top university in all areas in which we choose to work."
