An overseas candidate is defined by their place of domicile being outside the UK or EU member countries. Each UK medical school has a set quota based on their total annual intake numbers. Dundee has an annual intake of 154; thus the set percentage of 7.5% establishes 11 overseas places. Overseas candidates are required, like all other prospective candidates, to demonstrate good academic qualifications to undertake the study of medicine at Dundee.
