Graeme Henderson is currently Professor of Pharmacology at the University of Bristol. He studied pharmacology at the Universities of Glasgow (BSc) and Aberdeen (PhD). His research has focussed on the signalling processes resulting from opioid receptor activation and how they are modified on prolonged exposure to drugs.

He is a former President of the British Pharmacological Society and currently is the Vice President of the International Union of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology (IUPHAR).
