The Dundee Clinical Academic Track at the University of Dundee provides a resource for undergraduate and postgraduate clinicians with an interest in clinical academic careers. Our aims are:

• To coordinate opportunities for research available to medical, dental and nursing students
• To provide information and administrative support for research training to junior doctors, dentists and nurses in training
• To develop mentoring programmes for health professionals during periods of research training
• To facilitate administration and delivery of generic skills components
• To provide individualised advice regarding re-entry into clinical training following periods of research
• To maximise links with NHS Education for Scotland
