Clinical Lecturer in Gastroenterology and Hepatology
Clinical Academic Scale (£32,803-£48,604)
Applications are invited from Gastroenterology and Hepatology specialty trainees with outstanding potential to develop into a clinical academic leader. This post will provide clinical training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology along with an excellent opportunity to develop a research portfolio.
The post is part of the Scottish Clinical Research Excellence Development Scheme.
Available to candidates who already hold a National Training Number in the relevant specialty. The successful applicant will be expected to transfer to an East of Scotland Deanery NTN, and will hold an honorary clinical appointment as a Specialty Trainee in Gastroenterology and Hepatology on the highly rated east of Scotland training scheme.
Summary of Skills, Experience and Qualifications
The lectureship is for the duration of remaining specialty training, i.e. up to 6 years, and the postholder will spend 20% oftheir time developing a relevant research programme. Research activities will be based in the University of Dundee’s Division of Molecular and Clinical Medicine at the Ninewells Hospital & Medical School site.
